Lauren Taylor – Registered Manager
Lauren is a dedicated professional with extensive experience supporting vulnerable children and young people. Her journey began as a qualified Social Worker within the Child Protection team, where she worked tirelessly to safeguard at-risk children. She later became the sole case holder for North Yorkshire’s Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) cases, collaborating closely with multi-agency teams to protect young people from harm.
Lauren’s passion for safeguarding extended beyond the UK when she travelled to Australia to share and develop her expertise. There, she educated university professionals on trauma bonds, particularly within sexually abusive child/adult relationships, further deepening her understanding of the long-term impact of trauma. She also worked in rural communities, delivering training on the effects of domestic abuse and spearheaded a public exhibition to raise awareness on the issue.
Upon returning to the UK, Lauren took on a pivotal role within a Domestic Abuse charity, where she held several leadership positions, including Hertfordshire Service Manager. Her experience extended to managing Children and Family Services, where she helped shape vital support systems for young people.
Lauren holds a Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management and is a certified IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advisor), ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor), and YPVA (Young Person’s Violence Advisor). She is currently working towards her Level 5 in Residential Management for Children, Young People, and Families.
Lauren remains dedicated to ensuring that every child and young person she supports receives the care, protection, and opportunities they deserve.
